We really like this picture (pinched from the duly-credited site, well worth a visit) because it shows what a good workout should really be like. Doesn’t matter whether it is wrestling, a weights session, gymnastics training or tumbling – if you haven’t worked up a sweat, then you haven’t worked hard enough! The bottom guy here even has beads of sweat dripping off his chin!
We happen to know that these two guys are great mates and train together all the time – weights too. But neither is giving any ground here – 110% effort from both – a fantastic series which you can catch in full at www.realworkoutsinc.com.
A couple of ‘straight’ weights gym pictures then, again showing the commitment on the part of the guys:
The mantra is obvious: thanks to Winston Churchill for this piece of advice on the right (I’m pretty sure it was him). Of course, from today’s title, perhaps you thought you were going to get a picture of a sauna!
Oh, all right then – I’ll keep it small because it’s ever-so-slightly showing naughty bits:
And, of course, you can be sweaty just chilling out at the beach, if it is a hot enough day:
…not that we don’t enjoy a bit of that ourselves, of course – although it’s not quite in the same league as pumping out the sweat by hard work!
Here in Wales UK (well away from our base in Tennessee), we’re only about 20 miles of a rocky coast like the one shown here, but it is hardly beach weather at present – just about 11C (52F) today in the sun. So we’re sticking with our own ‘gym’ (previously known as ‘sheep shed’) here at Cefn Derwen.
Still working on the final part of our epic – ‘sweating it out’ in another sense!! But I’m getting close ot the end of ‘Against All Odds’ now and I can start to image all three volumes sitting neatly together on the shelves. In fact, as our bodies start ever so gently to tell us that intensive acrobatics isn’t going to be possible for ever, I can see that writing about it – and more about our gay selves and the misadventures of our group – might be another option to pass the time.
