Thinking of you, Tone

Dave again.

Wanting you close (I slept with my head on your tee-shirt last night…)

….THIS close…

…actually, I had Zach’s head in my lap for a while last evening, but then you knew I would be going round to Zach and Gary’s penthouse after training…

…and we ALL missed stroking YOUR chest. After all, we’re the “core four“.

But no night-time cuddles tonight. Zach and Gary will be in Knoxville until goodness knows when, Ethan and Jack are knackered after doing hours of coaching at the gymnastics centre, covering for you, and I’m ‘on’ first thing in the morning at the gym…

I’m gonna read myself to sleep tonight with some of those wonderful words which Tone wrote about me in his first book. I used to be excruciatingly embarrassed about it, but all the feedback I’ve ever heard has been good, so I guess I can live with it now.

Tomorrow, after work, I’ll get together with the group guys for a while:

…maybe get a bit competitive…

…then head back to the gymnastics centre to cover for your late evening session with the senior guys…

..after which, home alone again (well apart from Pete and Ivo doing whatever it is they do in the room next door!) – time to dream, and to imagine you’re back with me…

Carry on having ‘fun’, Tone. Can’t wait to hear how it’s all going.

And, meanwhile, I send you all mine, just as is conveniently written here

Bonus Boys

Someone else there thinking about his love, perhaps. And I wonder what this chunky dude has in mind?

Take care, Tone…

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
