Nadolig Llawen

As we’re headed for Wales immediately after Boxing Day, I put the Welsh in the title.

…oh, I give up. Klingon, Elvish and Esperanto, if you want to know.

Dave and I, and all of the gang both currently in the UK and spread around the USA wish you all you wish for yourself for this festive season. Or, alternatively, if you prefer,

Bah Humbug

Whether you visit this site for the occasional (?) picture, whether you are vaguely interested in acrobatics or the general (if slightly unusual) gay lifestyle we lead, or whether (minority!!) you’re actually interested in the books I’ve written which get ‘plugged’ here an awful lot… whichever, whoever you are, welcome, and we extend our best wishes to you all. Details in previous posts!!

And remember

…if you are into fitness, there is NO LET UP!! Christmas Day, well maybe, but after that… get back to the training. We will. My beloved old PE teacher and mentor, Steve (Chalky) White, now on the verge of retirement from High School here in Oxford, is opening up the gym for us all to train on Boxing Day ahead of our shows, and my great old friends Colin and Roger are bringing along their families too for a nostalgic ‘get together’ in that old familiar gym. LIke three generations, in a way! Then we head down to our ‘retreat’ in Wales for a couple of days, and that will be our base for shows in South Wales and the West.

Here’s a few ‘inspirational’ pictures to encourage you.

Peace and Goodwill be upon you all!!

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
