7 Days to Go…

Yep.. another heading with a double meaning!! (Scroll down for the second one!)

In seven days the tour will be over (hooray) and we can get on with our lives. Seven more days of living out of a kitbag on a converted bus… really do NOT like this any more. Good news is, we have been by the sea (Atlantic coast).

I miss the beach, being in Tennessee. However, when we go to our place in Wales (UK) we are less than an hour away from the Irish Sea. The beach gives the opportunity to show off a bit (otherwise known as ‘goof around’):

(That’s Shannon, by the way,  an Aussie lad with a huge web presence…)

So, a few more nights of this, and we’re done with it…

So, what else has SEVEN DAYS TO GO…? The answer is – publication of the next edition of the UK magazine ‘Gay Times’, just ‘GT’ to those in the know. This magazine will carry the following advertisement…

Special Offer

Now, there’s an offer. And you can get in there RIGHT NOW if you want. And, should you be an aspiring writer, that address and phone number are in the UK, so you’ll maybe need to add a +44 and take the ‘0’ out if you call from outside UK. Thanks to Rachel for that brilliant design, by the way. As it says, I genuinely recommend these guys – they’ve done a fantastic job for my books.

And now, I can’t resist this… an example of a less successful publishing job – by the Chinese manufacturer of some shoes purchased by another blogger who reads this one… (you may need to enlarge this picture to read the words clearly – just click on it)

OK, enough of that – time for a final dip in the ocean I think.

…and maybe a bit of a stretch…

…and then I think, chill out for a while before this evening’s show!

Bye for now…

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
