A Post for Steve (Muscleguy)

Tom and Iestyn can wait till the next post. ‘Steve’ has commented favourably on the pictures – at least three times! For us, the well-developed male body is king. Those hours spent in the gym with a mate or a group of mates, each pushing the others on to achieve that ripped and chiselled look – not in competition, but each one willing and helping the others to achieve their best.

Cover1 Thumb547102_438111692943837_1396555534_nThat’s what started all this off, for me. Finding a guy who wanted me to succeed in my lifting and acrobatic ambitions, alongside him. Who cared as much for me as for himself. And then, enlarging that group of like minded guys… it inspired me to start writing about those feelings (Vol 1 at the left side became three in the end!), and I widened it to describe my discovery of my gay self, my beautiful life partner, and so on…

In the gym, watching the muscles at work (who would wear a top?!), getting sweaty alongside your brilliant friends and then, often, sharing the sweat in some ‘cooldown’ wrestling on the mats…, my face pressed against a sweaty back or chest…

So, for Steve, who clearly shares the lifting ‘bug’ and appreciates good results, a selection of some of our favourites:

Here’s a sweaty gym body, then – he’s been running, I think, rather than being into power lifting:

…whereas this next guy is just, well, kewl:

Cable training is good…

(maybe not the chiselled look, but a beautiful face…?)

OK, finish off for today with a couple of built guys: I assume that the first one is a wrestler (US style):

Special OfferOK Steve: hope you like. And, if you (or anyone!) cares to read about our approach to all of this, well, here goes: just as in the gym, when the last rep seems just out of reach…no excuses!!

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...

Amen and Wow! Long ago I was told that beauty should be celebrated in every form and gender and by both genders, Gay or otherwise. These photos not only celebrate beauty but show that you Tony are an artist and a lover of all things of beauty. Thank you.
