Almost 400,000…

399,392 hits at the time of writing… thanks, guys.

tumblr_mifjb0UGCY1qa42jro1_500A little bit of analysis… ‘Why are you here?’

First simple answer is to check out the pix. According to WordPress, around 90 per cent of the clicks are on the pix. Fine. This is a blog about gay love and gay sport, and we all know what we like to see in a guy. Perhaps you share my preferences…

What I can’t tell from WordPress statistics is which style of pictures most please you. Just the guys who have built themselves an impressive physique – or those that use their strength and skill to achieve their sporting ambitions, perhaps inspiring you to do the same…

Something conventional, such as gymnastics…

…or maybe just plain showing off…

Perhaps the training pix are inspirational…

…or is it perhaps the ‘tender twosomes’ that hit the spot?

mine is on the left

Or the occasional unusual/revealing/wish-it-could-be-me style of pic, such as this interesting take on ‘teeterboard training’?

teeterboard training

That one definitely ‘does it’ for Dave and I, although we’ve only tried teeterboard once or twice… but that style of training definitely meets with our approval and we are extremely fortunate to have access to a gym and a training cabin where we and our mates can ‘dress down’ like that.

Please do tell me your preferences… just click on ‘Comments’…

About 5% of the hits are on assorted links to the sites I recommend at the bottom right-hand side of the page. Most of these offer the same themes as this blog, so maybe that’s not a surprise.

Special OfferThis blog started because a guy called Jesse who no longer works for my publishers suggested that it would be good for marketing books! To be fair, an encouraging number of clicks on book links are registered – whether that is mirrored in sales of paper or e-books remains to be seen, since there is a humungous delay between sales and me getting to hear about it (or indeed to receive any proceeds!). So, guys, if you like the blog, return the favour – OK? The books cover all the things you appear to like, plus tales of touring with a circus, our acrobatic adventures, and a couple of scary things which have crossed our path along the way. The third and final book, Against All Odds, has a ‘denoument’ which takes place here…

That’s not really a ‘spoiler’ – just a ‘teaser’. It shouldn’t be difficult to work out where that is and then, if you join some mental dots, perhaps to work out where/why the peculiar threats to our touring groups originated. All due to a previously unknown family background issue for one of our dearest mates although I confess that, at the end of the second book the sinister trail appears to lead somewhere entirely different. A wonderful guy in Wales (UK) helped and advised me to write the books that way ‘to make them a good read’ otherwise (I fear) my own efforts might have been far less entertaining.

And what of the rest of the blog ‘hits and clicks’ analysis? Well, the really interesting thing is the search terms people have used which lead them here! Indeed, I blush to read some of them, let alone repeat them here…

…clearly, for some people, the generaly so-called ‘G-rated’ pictures that I include here are not going far enough… but that’s as far as they will go, guys, except upon really special occasions!! We’ll go this far today…

I think he pushes enough buttons…

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...

The mix of photos is the charm of the site, a bit of everything; nudes can be good art, not just porn. In fact non-erect would be my preference in a classy site like this. Thanks for
what I would call among the very best gay sites on line.
