Cool, Wet and Windy

I’ve been checking out the weather in Wales UK ahead of our Christmas trip, and comparing it with here in TN, where it has gone quite cold now – son Leo appeared this morning wearing not just a shirt, but an anorak on top, so it must be cold! And very stormy with ferocious winds in the UK, I hear. So it’s definitely going to be a ‘log fire’ job, by the sound of it, rather than outdoor adventures, this forthcoming vacation.

Actually, being shirtless in front of an open fire is a rather nice experience

…though I doubt we’ll have much chance of doing that on a beach in the middle of winter. We do need to find a way of heating our Welsh barn gym up though, so that’s one project for the vacation: we do need to be able to get our shirts off and show off without shivering!

Garage gyms can get quite cool too, this time of year, but as long as you work up a sweat, you don’t notice it too much:

Basements too:

…after all, we do have certain standards to maintain…

…especially if we want to keep on doing the ‘clever’ stuff…

Hopefully, those will keep the cold out…

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
