Pictures Back Up

No, the site hasn’t been ‘down’ – at least not so far as I know. I mean that I am queuing up pictures to be posted in this blog faster than I am posting them, so there is a back log… and hence, this extra post about ….backs! We work hard on backs in the gym (at least, you should) but, so often, they get ignored in the photographs we see. So here goes! We’re looking for well-developed muscle bulk, definition, and power.

The wide-grip pull-up (as in the opening picture) is the power move…

More bicep power than back muscle shown here, but a great pic though…

Sorry for the small size there – unlike his deltoids! And this little pic also – somehow the muscle top seems to show off his shoulders and arms pretty well…

But I expect you’d like to see the lats and rhomboids at play as well…

Looks like barbecued boy on the menu tonight!

A different angle on things…

Back development and flexibility too – but what a horrible ‘back’-alley location:

Sunset at the street workout…

Back at work (and arms/shoulders at work too!):

Back at work (2) – nice handstand on a piece of driftwood:

Back on the bar…

…and a double back (well, nearly) to finish:

Sweet, huh? Twenty-one backs in total, alongside their shoulders and arms, to inspire your workouts!

And now – would you be sweet too and ‘back me up’ by considering purchasing a book or three (print or electronic)? Clicking on the covers will reveal more information!

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
