The Dark and The Cold are Coming

Today’s Gallery Theme: ‘Two Together’

Aprés nous, le deluge…?

Two guys, obviously close, doing their thing under a waterfall. Love it.

Here in TN, the daytime temperatures are still up in the 70s F but the nights are getting cold. Next weekend, though, sees a major change predicted, with the max temperature on Saturday forecast at just 46F –  that’s 8C. Even Leo and Chris will be thinking twice about going out shirtless at that temperature! They’re still arriving back from school bare-chested at the moment, and obviously losing their shirts in the training sessions – and we will still be going river swimming (after all, if Cody, who is ten years older than me, does it every day of the year, surely we can take it! Actually, the river temperature is still quite warm).

Still, I admit, we do prefer the sun!

Gym sessions with a mate (or more) are, of course, ‘cool’ in the other sense:

…they’ve sure worked up a sweat! …and locker-room or bathroom mirrors are good for comparisons, too!

But it is the actual workout that really establishes the camaraderie between two like-minded guys: a bit of acrobatics…

…maybe a couple of planches…

…or maybe a bit of aerial work, where you really do depend upon one another:

Yoga, even!

But, for really getting to know your friend(s), you can’t beat wrestling!

All of these activities, with a gay slant, are in the books (and more besides!):

Loving the Boy: ISBN 978-1-907732-30-0

The Power of Love: ISBN 978-1-907732-41-6

Against All Odds: ISBN 978-1-908645-35-7

And, if like us, you are of the gay persuasion, after all that it is time for a little tlc!

Not quite sure what these next two are doing, but the final pair make it very clear!

Just look at that guy’s face! Perfect way to spend a long dark evening when it is cold outside…

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
