Insanely Hot

‘Hot’ as in temperature (this time!) rather than ‘sexy’! The temperatures where we are are just ridiculous. A little north of here they had 45C yesterday: we get sea breezes so we only got to 38C. Even the locals are wilting in the heat, and visitors to our vacation complex are hiding from the sun they have paid so much to come to! We, allegedly used to it, are covering up in the sun and also taking advantage of the air conditioning as much as possible by staying in the cool gym area in the middle of the day. North from here, a huge wildfire is raging but, fortunately, the wind is taking it further away rather than towards us.

‘First aid’ are treating burnt feet after people step out of the pool on to the paving surrounding it: pale-skinned northern Europeans are crisping up nicely before being treated for heat stroke.

At which point, I have therefore posted to new sets of pictures which effectively cover the themes ‘Cooling Off’ and ‘Heating Up’.

Cooling off -wet boys in various ‘kewl’ situations (20 pics on the second Fitness (Etc) page ( – the present conditions almost makes us want to do this:

…and then, ‘Heating Up’ in the sense of guys ‘getting it together’ on the Gay Expression page ( – 20 new pics there, too. Sometimes it is not immediately obvious from a picture of two guys whether they are a loving couple or just mates: here’s one of those ambiguous ones to get you started!

Reminder – cheap and easy beach read! Young gay man out of love with life sets off on the road to – somewhere. In the end, it is in search of his lost love. At the start – who knows… Click on the cover for the link.

PS: we still have the captured drone and no-one has asked anyone working here about it, so far as we know. Does the law of ‘finders=keepers’ apply, I wonder? Management know we have it, so we have a clear conscience, especially as they got very pissed off with whoever was flying it! Just a few minors repairs needed – and of course we don’t have the control box. Perhaps that’s a pity – I’m not sure. Apply here if it is yours!

About tonycavanagh

Born Northampton UK; school Oxford UK and Oak Ridge Tennessee, where I met my wonderful partner Dave, also from UK. Oak Ridge is our main training base for acrobatics and circus stuff, but we also established a base in Wales (UK) to serve us when we are working in Europe. Our 'story', of finding gay love, learning the acrobatics trade and then of how we got shot at during our show (and worse was to follow - just to prove that the risks of being an acrobat are not always the most obvious ones!) are now available in my three books 'Loving the Boy', 'The Power of Love' and 'Against All Odds'. Links available on most blog posts. Actually, waiting for the imminent arrival of the first printed copies was far scarier than anything we do in performance. A fourth book - not about us but exploring the sadness of a gay Native American boy denied his true identity - is currently with an agent for evaluation. watch for 'Let The Future Find Me' in due time. And now to book five... another boy, another quest... seems its always boys...
