“Best Before” Date

As we move into the new performing season, Dave and I are definitely feeling that we have reached our ‘best before’ date. That momentous age of 40 is not so far over the horizon now – time flies – and we are definitely feeling that this is perhaps the time to consider whether balancing on one arm on each other’s heads to earn a crust is something we ought to consider giving up… before our backs give up! Of course, one can carry on doing bed of glass or nails until you’re 100 – that’s easy, despite appearances, so long as you keep reasonably fit.

So, in recognition of ‘time flying’, today’s post is of images of the younger male, in their prime. And good luck to them in their fitness ambitions!

OK! I suppose congratulations are in order! And we like sweaty young lads…

Native costume?

Only 3/5 of these come into my ‘younger’ category, but it is a great shot:

Mud wrestling, anyone?

“Are we doing OK?”

“I’m not putting on weight, am I?”

…and two shots of our Chelyabinsk gymnast friends to finish…
