In Memoriam

Feeling a bit sad today. One of the longest supporters of this blog, and of my attempts at writing books, was found dead at his home in Hampshire (UK) yesterday, apparently of a heart attack. He lived alone and was in isolation from the current pandemic but, thankfully it seems to have been a peaceful death. He also helped with research for the next book, if I ever get to finish and publish it – it will be dedicated to him.

He also composed piano music especially for me to play, inspired by fitness themes. That’s not something most guys get to do!

He didn’t ‘do’ fitness himself these days, but I know that, in his younger days, he used to be keen on wrestling.

Rest in peace, Ian W.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Each friend becomes a piece of us. I know that one way my Grandmother healed when she lost a friend was to make a new friend.
